π₯ SPECIAL: ChatGPT Tasks in practice - Our top 5 use cases including prompts
ChatGPT Tasks have been live for a few weeks now and are available to all ChatGPT Plus users. But honestly: Are you already using them? β¦

After the first tests ("Create a daily news overview for me..." yawn), we didn't have any specific use cases and forgot about it.
Until Andrew's tweet gave us the inspiration to dig a little deeper. And we struck gold, which we are now sharing with you!
I dismissed ChatGPT's new Tasks feature as a slightly better version of Google Alerts.
I was wrong. It's fucking cool.
I just made an AI agent that:

What exactly can you do with ChatGPT Tasks?
A quick reminder: ChatGPT Tasks is ideal for personalized tasks and follow-ups. You can use it to schedule tasks and have them partially executed automatically for you.
In contrast to regular reminders from the calendar, ChatGPT can include interactions, current results and personal preferences in the response, which makes it much more individual.
All tasks follow the simple WHAT + WHEN scheme. You can plan everything from daily summaries (messages, to-do lists, updates) to reminders (meetings, appointments, personal goals) to routine tasks (training plans, study plans, diary) ...
Sounds handy? It is!
But where exactly does it get really exciting? Let's take a look at that together.

Use cases: Some cool ChatGPT tasks to recreate
We like to be specific and don't just want to parrot the run-of-the-mill stuff. That's why we've come up with some really cool ideas and tested what you can do with it. Try it out and tell us about your experiences!
Ongoing to-do list: Simply give ChatGPT a list of the things you want to do and let it create a prioritized to-do list for you. You can then specify how often you want to check in, remove tasks from the list and add new ones.
Social media content: You can have current topics or news researched, and generate suitable social media posts with images from them straight away - so you'll never run out of content again!
Daily learning sessions: For example, you can learn a new language or improve your pronunciation with the Advanced Voice Mode. Of course, you can also start a chat on any topic and then upload your documents and explore the topic further.
Bedtime stories: You can also set up a task that creates a chapter for a bedtime story with a matching picture every hour, for example. Then you can read a new story to your kids every evening and illustrate it with matching pictures.
Entertainment: There should also be plenty of entertainment for you. You can get recommendations on new films and series, or even local tips on where to go out and eat.
Accountability: Need a little motivation or a reminder when it comes to your health? No problem. ChatGPT Tasks can remind you to take breaks, meditate, drink water, do some stretching, follow a specific fitness program, meal planning and so on.

Test the prompts with ChatGPT tasks
Ok, and now for the prompts - try these, have fun ... (*sometimes you have to give a few extra commands via chat, or copy and paste the prompt directly into the task itself, without the schedule - it's still GPT-4o, and therefore not as smart as we wish for).
Ongoing to-do list as a prioritized table
# Create new task: Current to-do list
- Ask me every 25 minutes about my to-dos including time requirements (calculate the number π
π
), and manage my running list.
- Display all to-dos in a table.
- This contains tasks, any subtasks, time (in hours) & Pomodoro's π
, as well as the total at the bottom.
- Completed to-dos: β
add, italicize text - always exclude pomodoros and time from completed tasks.
- Give me back the full list after each interaction/feedback, followed by an inspirational quote.
- Always save everything in your memory.
Current social media posts with image
# Create new task: Social Media Post
- Start in 5 minutes and then every 4 hours research the most important news (only from the last 24 hours) that match the interests stored in the memory.
- Create a list and evaluate the messages in terms of topicality, relevance and virality potential.
- Then choose a particularly controversial/viral one (only those that you have not yet dealt with).
- Create a German-language viral social media post for this purpose.
- Length: max. 250 words, with a provocative introduction, relaxed tone, clear added value and URL of the source at the end. Format the post attractively!
# Create new task: Image for social media post
- Start in 10 minutes and then generate a matching, viral DALL-E image every 4 hours for the last social media post in this chat.
Bedtime story for children with pictures
# Create a new task: Bedtime story generator
- Generate an ongoing bedtime story for children.
- Create a new, short chapter including a matching picture every hour.
- Always build on the previous context for a consistent and congruent story and visual language.
Research assistant for new movie & series recommendations
# Create new task: New movie & series releases
- Search for films and series that have been released for the German market in the last seven days every Friday using a web search. IMPORTANT: Only include the last 7 days in the search, pay attention to German sources!
- Make sure that the titles match my preferences: murder mystery, thriller, sci-fi, comedies, documentaries
- Search on the following platforms: Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max, BritBox
- Create an appealing table that contains the following for each suitable title: **Title** in bold, directly followed by release date (in brackets) | **Summary**, what the movie or series is about | **Rating** with βοΈs. | **Platform**, with the name of the platform | **Trailer**, with the clickable URL to a search query on https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query= | **Details**, with the clickable URL to a search query on https://www.google.com/search?q=
- After the list, write a short sentence summarizing the number of new releases per platform. For example: "There are 2 releases on Netflix, 7 on Prime Video, 1 on Disney+, etc. that match your criteria."
Expand daily ChatGPT Memory with strategic questions
# Create a new task: Ask questions, update memory
Ask me a specific question every evening at 6:30 pm, based on everything you know about me.
- This question will help you to understand me even better.
- It should make your support smarter for me.
- Feedback makes you smarter & optimizes future answers.
Also, ask me how my day was so that I can reflect on it with you.
**IMPORTANT:** Save all my answers in your memory.
Important Pro tips for better results with your ChatGPT tasks
You can have a maximum of 10 active chats. Each task runs in a chat, and you can also have several tasks in one chat = the context is retained! That's awesome.
In the notification settings, you can specify whether you want to receive a push notification and/or an email. If you use the desktop app, you can also display a notification.
You can also use the Advanced Voice Mode to talk to ChatGPT. You can also perform web searches and integrate image generation using DALL-E.
But be careful: When you set up the task, make sure that you do not activate the search button - even if the task is supposed to perform a web search for you. Otherwise, the search will start, and no task will be created...
The tasks often do not contain all the desired details from the prompts above! Therefore, adjust the generated tasks manually (in the web app).
Activate the memory feature and the custom instructions. This allows the tasks to access more details and also save information about you.
ChatGPT tasks cannot yet be used in ChatGPT projects, but: you can add a chat with tasks to a project afterward and then continue to edit and chat with them.
At the moment, it is not yet possible to control external applications with them, and custom GPTs cannot be used directly either.
Always test your tasks ("Start the task in 1 minute"), keep an eye on their execution and verify critical information to avoid errors. And if the result does not meet your expectations, simply chat through your updates.
Sometimes you have to refresh the chat to see the latest posts.
By the way, you can also save a task reminder in any chat history - for example, if you want to continue a conversation about a hobby project later, or pull up chat results for a meeting, etc.
Our take: Try it out, and cut it some slack...
ChatGPT Tasks is a step towards a proactive assistant that not only provides information, but provides it at the right time. It can already be a powerful tool for productivity, learning and creative applications - even if there are still limitations and issues.
The big question is: when will ChatGPT really be able to actively act on our behalf? Deep Research and Operator are the first harbingers, and as soon as ChatGPT can perform external actions (e.g. send emails or enter calendar appointments), it will usher in a whole new era of automation.
Until then, it remains an exciting experiment - but one that is already saving time, making everyday life easier and perhaps even a little more inspiring.
We need ChatGPT Tasks for ChatGPT Operator.

π Mistrals Le Chat now as an app and with new features
Mistrals Le Chat brings a breath of fresh air to the chatbot scene. The latest version offers web browsing, access to news, file uploads and data analysis, image generation and superfast Flash responses.
Introducing the all new Le Chat: your ultimate AI sidekick for life and work! Now live on web and mobile!
β Mistral AI (@MistralAI)

The highlights are:
Thanks to the partnership with Cerebras Systems, Le Chat delivers an impressive 1,000 words per second. That's not just fast, that's the speed of light! For comparison: ChatGPT's o3-mini model manages about 10,000 words per minute - so Mistral is about 6x faster.
But that's not all. Le Chat is also ahead in terms of image generation. With the integration of Flux Ultra from Black Forest Labs, it conjures up photorealistic images that make DALL-E 3 look old.
You can also use features such as the code interpreter to analyze data, create visualizations and run simulations.
Most of the features are free to use (but limited), and Mistrals Le Chat is now also available as an app.

In our admittedly limited tests, the results were ok, not outstanding - but we are already spoiled by the new ChatGPT o3-mini ...

We couldn't have said it better than with this meme!
By the way, we are not affected by the "shiny new object" syndrome at all, since we have to do this as required by our profession ... (Phew, that was the best excuse ever π)
