π¨βπ Your year with ChatGPT: The app shows you who you are
PLUS: Perfect presentations have never been easier
Hello AInauten,
Happy holidays! We hope you are having a wonderful celebration.
Since we know that you're waiting for nothing more important than our newsletter, we're not taking a breakβwe're pushing through.
We are approaching the end of the year. Our favorite time to reflect and plan new things. And, of course, AI helps us with that. But even those who work between Christmas and New Year's and create a lot of presentations will find what they are looking for today.
Here's what we have in store for you:
πͺ Your year with ChatGPT: The app shows you who you are
π NotebookLM notebooks finally available as sources in Gemini
π Perfect presentations have never been easier
Let's go!
Clear communicators aren't lucky. They have a system.
Here's an uncomfortable truth: your readers give you about 26 seconds.
Smart Brevity is the methodology born in the Axios newsroom β rooted in deep respect for people's time and attention. It works just as well for internal comms, executive updates, and change management as it does for news.
We've bundled six free resources β checklists, workbooks, and more β so you can start applying it immediately.
The goal isn't shorter. It's clearer. And clearer gets results.
πͺ Your year with ChatGPT: The app shows you who you are
After presenting our version of "ChatGPT Wrapped" last week (try it out at https://ainauten.com/chatgpt-wrapped), OpenAI naturally wants to keep up with us!
Just in time for the end of the year, a small ChatGPT mini-feature is being rolled out that is really fun.

In "Your Year with ChatGPT," the app shows you a brief recap of everything you've done in ChatGPT over the year.
As you would expect from OpenAI, it offers a very cool user experience.

There are some really exciting reviews that invite you to think and reflect.
Of course, you can also chat about each element and delve deeper into it. Ask questions, etc.
... and some elements almost make you blush a little π.

(Is this a bit of an exaggeration to ensure that people remain loyal to the app next year? π)
Finally, you can tell your friends about it, generate your own short clip with Sora, or plan for 2026 based on everything you learned in 2025. This is where the full power of the AI memory function comes into play!

How to use it
This feature is not yet available in Europe. In other words, you'll need to quickly beam yourself to the US, Canada, etc. using a VPN. We really like ProtonVPN for this.
And, of course, you need to have the memory feature and chat history enabled in ChatGPT for it to come up with something clever.

Once these conditions are met, the mini feature demonstrates one thing above all else:
How incredibly cool apps in ChatGPT will be in the future!
Hopefully, external developers will also be able to access the interface to modify it and access users' memories and other data (after approval).
Then ChatGPT will truly become a completely new experience and the "super app" that we teased on Monday.
π NotebookLM notebooks finally available as sources in Gemini
If you're not spending your time between Christmas and New Year with family, friends, or AI newsletters, it's always a good idea to learn something new.
Our favorite app for this is NotebookLM.
For some time now, we have been eagerly awaiting a new feature that is now also being rolled out in Europe.
(We can't see it in our business accounts yet, but it works on our private accounts.)

You can finally
Add your curated sources and content from NotebookLM directly to Gemini Chat as sources.
specialized assistants for this purpose,
Combine multiple assistants and much more!
This results in many exciting use cases, because Gemini Chats, features such as Canvas & Co. are simply more flexible and complement the existing features of NotebookLM in a meaningful way.
We love the Canvas feature in Gemini, for example. We can use it to create content with AI, then edit it manually and export it as a Google Doc. This is something we often missed in NotebookLM, and now it's possible without any problems.
2025: The year of Google with over 60 announcements
All in all, 2025 was Google's year. It's incredible what the company has achieved this year!

There were so many new AI features. If you can't remember them all, Google itself has summarized the 60 (yes, 60!!!) most important AI innovations of the year here.
Our personal highlights are not only Gemini 3 or Nano Banana Pro, which is revolutionizing entire industries.
We find it incredibly impressive how seamlessly AI features have been integrated into virtually all Google products. From Mail to Sheets, Slides, Gemini itself, etc.
Currently, you only need one tool to be successful with AI: a Google account. And that was just the beginning! We are extremely excited to see what Google has in store for 2026..
π Perfect presentations have never been easier
Finally, here's a practical topic that you probably don't want to try out on a holiday.
But it's too good to pass up and gives us the opportunity to talk once again about a tool that has developed really well in recent months.
But let's start at the beginning.
Perhaps you remember our newsletters or have seen examples of how Google's Nano Banana Pro builds incredibly powerful presentations.

The easiest way to try this out is with NotebookLM. Just add a few sources and click on "Create presentation."

The result is a really good presentation with perfect text and design.
The only problem: Nano Banana Pro is an image model = the individual foils are simply images!
This is obviously quite inconvenient if you want to customize content, as you would always have to generate a completely new slide. But now there is a solution!
Manus makes Nano Banana Pro foils editable
Perhaps you are already familiar with the tool Manus. We have written about it several times before.
It is an AI tool suite with countless exciting features. The team has developed significantly over the past few months, and we will likely be able to write more about Manus again in 2026.
They recently released a feature that allows you to create slides with Nano Banana and then edit them directly!
The whole process is very simple. Create an account, start the free trial, generate a presentation, and then edit it as shown in the video above until it is perfect.

Truly powerful. Now you can harness the power of Nano Banana Proβand quickly and easily edit your slides to perfection.
We are still Gamma fans, but we are experimenting a lot here and may even switch to this workflow. Nano Banana has the advantage that it can generate very complex, individual, and attractively designed slidesβsomething that Gamma is not currently able to do as wellβ¦
You made it to the endβthanks for reading! Weβll be back soon with even more updates.
