Hello AInauts,
Welcome to the latest issue of your favorite newsletter! Honestly, we sometimes felt a bit at a disadvantage because we never really "learned" Adobe Photoshop. But thanks to the latest FLUX model, we can do exactly what we want with a prompt! We love it.

Let's go!
β€οΈ Prompt instead of Photoshop: New AI tool is awesome!
The coolest AI doesn't come from the Valley - but from Germanys Black Forest!
Three AI researchers from Freiburg im Breisgau left Stability AI and founded Black Forest Labs. Shortly afterward, they released the FLUX model and disappeared into oblivion again.
But with the newly released FLUX.1 context model, they are once again raising the bar. Sorry, ChatGPT, Google Imagen, Ideogram, Midjourney and coβ¦
What can you do with it? Everything!
With FLUX.1 Context, the name says it all: you can give text and images as input, and the model understands the context.
Try it out for yourself: https://playground.bfl.ai/image/edit
You can simply say "Make the car red" or "Make the person smile" with text commands, and it happens - quickly and accurately, and across multiple edits! And that's what makes it so awesome.
You can change a scene as you wish - and the character consistency remains guaranteed.
You can combine two images - ideal for dressing a model in certain clothes or placing a product.
And it also works great when it comes to typography!
Of course, you can then use the images directly as input for the video model of your choice - many platforms already have this integrated.
There are already some cool applications: restoring old pictures, removing text (also suitable for watermarks), "cartoonify" people or placing them in well-known locations - and even trying out different haircuts.
But how does the model compare with the competition?
Here is our practical test - Prompt: βChange this into a beach scene with a sunset.β

The only picture in which the person is correctly depicted is the one from FLUX. Note that the lighting was also correctly adjusted in FLUX: Sun in the back β shadow on the face.
In ChatGPT, on the other hand, the sun in the back is reflected in the sunglasses in the foreground ... and it took forever to create.
Of course, FLUX Context isn't always perfect either - but with a few tries, you'll definitely get usable results that look like you - without having to train your own model with lots of images.
Our take: Better, faster and cheaper than the rest
We recently had someone asking us about how to generate a professional image of yourself using AI. Unfortunately, we didn't have a quick and easy solution at hand and had to suggest paid solutions.
Neither ChatGPT nor Gemini were able to maintain the personality. But this model is different (if you need a professional business image: here you go!).
It's up to 8x faster than similar models and also cheaper than OpenAI's flagship model. It's also already available on platforms like Replicate, KreaAI, Freepik, Leonardo and Flux AI - and of course you can easily integrate it into your tools via an API connection.
FLUX proves it: Innovation doesn't just come from Silicon Valley. Three researchers from the Black Forest have shown that German AI expertise is world-class. Whether as a free open source tool or a professional API, FLUX has what it takes to revolutionize the creative industry.

ποΈ Podcast tip: Creator vibes and AI tech stack
If you've been reading us for some time, then you know: We're longtime listeners of the My First Million podcast with Sam Parr and Shaan Puri. Yes, sometimes a bit bro-ey, sometimes super nerdy, but always full of nuggets for creators and entrepreneurs.
But hey, even favorite formats need a breath of fresh air. And that's where Greg Isenberg comes in. In recent months, his Startup Ideas podcast has been one of our favorites. He is fully committed to the topic of AI and has many exciting guests who share their strategies.
When we saw that Greg was the guest of My First Million, we hit play right away. Sam was sometimes just quiet (not usually his style π) and listened. And then asked questions in disbelief and texted his team to get them up to speed right afterwards.
Our take: A must for all AInauts!
It's a really worthwhile podcast in which Greg shows the various tools and the thought processes behind them in a coherent and smart way.
If you only listen to one podcast episode in June, please listen to this one.
Greg Isenberg on My First Million is pure AI inspiration, without the fluff. But you get a bunch of practical ideas, clever insights and an outlook on what is possible if you seriously integrate AI into your workflow. Check it out!
Bonus tip: If you're hooked on AI coding, sign up for the free hackathon here to test the Pro version of the bolt.new tool presented by Greg. (More on this soon in this AI documentary β¦)
π¦ AI-Fun: The emotional support kangaroo
The new Google Veo-3 model is sooo good...!
A kangaroo with a boarding pass waits in the queue at the airport. What sounds like a snapshot from a Pixar remake was, of course, AI-generated nonsense at its finest.
The clip tricked millions, despite the "(AI)" label. The moral of the story? Don't trust a kangaroo with a boarding pass. And certainly not a video that is too good to be real.
We made it! But no need to be sad. The AInauts will be back soon, with new stuff for you.
