๐จโ๐ Google Gemini 3 is here, and it could change a lot of things
PLUS: Group chats with AI in ChatGPT
Hello AInauten,
Welcome to the latest edition of your favorite newsletter!
You probably noticed that on Tuesday, half the internet, including our favorite AI tools, was offline for an extended period of time.
Our Slack was buzzing, and we realized how dependent we already are on these tools.

After ChatGPT, Claude, and others went offline, we were left with Grok and Google Gemini.
However, Google Gemini in particular was less helpful on Tuesday compared to the others, as the model still lagged behind our other favorites.
But that changed in the evening! Finally, the new Gemini 3 model arrived. For all Google users, it's a real game changer.
That's what we're diving into today. Here are the topics:
๐ FINALLY: Google Gemini 3 is here, and it could change a lot of things
๐ฌ New feature: Group chats with AI
๐ฏ Anthropic CEO warns about the future of AI, but builds it anyway
Let's go!

Marketers waste millions on bad creatives.
You donโt have to.
Neurons AI predicts effectiveness in seconds.
Not days. Not weeks.
Test for recall, attention, impact, and more; before a dollar gets spent.
Brands like Google, Facebook, and Coca-Cola already trust it. Neurons clients saw results like +73% CTR, 2x CVR, and +20% brand awareness.
๐ FINALLY: Google Gemini 3 is here, and it could change a lot of things
After weeks, almost months, of rumors on the internet and an increasing number of leaks, the time has finally come.
The carousel of constantly improving AI models continues, and after xAI, Anthropic, and OpenAI, Google is now following suit and finally releasing Gemini 3.
The most important information in a nutshell
As always with new models, there are now endless benchmarks and tests in which all previous models are surpassed.

However, since very few of us are interested in benchmarks, let's just say that this model is really very good and a leader in practically all areas!
Google Gemini has always been very strong in four areas:
Reasoning: Solving highly complex tasks
Multimodal: Understanding text, images, videos, audio
Long Context: Great memory for long conversations
Coding: Programming apps, etc.
And Gemini 3 goes one better in all areas.
It can think even better, and its improved understanding of text, speech, images, and, above all, videos makes it unique.
This helps with analyzing YouTube videos, for example. Or maybe you've already streamed your screen via AI Studio and gotten live help with something? Now it works even better!
However, Gemini makes the biggest leap for us (after only about 4 hours of testing) in the area of coding. More on why this is relevant for all of us in a moment.
You can try it out for free right now at gemini.google.com or aistudio.google.com.

A few important notes:
We hallucinate very easily. So be careful.
The model has a knowledge base as of January 2025 (without web access).
An agent mode and Deep Think were also introduced. Since these are not yet available here in the EU, updates will be provided in due course.
A first glimpse into the future
We believe Gemini 3 has made a huge leap forward in one area in particular: coding
And this is not only relevant for programmers, but for all of us. Yes, even for you.
Even those of us who aren't techies can now build our own apps even more easily with Gemini 3. Vibe coding is the buzzword here, which we've written a lot about and even recorded a crash course on.
The Google AI Studio has its own section with examples where you can build your own apps for free.

It works frighteningly well. A single prompt can lead to a working app.
Try it out! Now. Really.
Because the model is so good and, above all, so fast at coding, we are getting a first glimpse into a future in which software and apps will be programmed entirely individually for our needs. Live and in real time!
Over the past week, we have vibecoded at least two browser extensions, one web app, one MCP server, one n8n workflow, and two WordPress plugins for our purposesโnot for testing, but for productive use in our daily business. Without writing a single line of code. It's happening, and with Gemini, it's getting even easier...
A great example of this abstract idea is the new integration of Gemini 3 into Google AI search mode.
Thanks to Gemini 3, Google searches no longer look the same. Instead, Google generates a customized layout and builds simulations on the fly, depending on the query.
Completely crazy. It changes not only the way we search, but above all how we learn, understand, plan, and create new things.
To try this out, you need a paid subscription. Unfortunately, it is only just being rolled out. As always, first in the US, first Ultra subscription, then Pro.
Until then, watch the video above or read this article here.
For anyone with Pro, Ultra + VPN who wants to try it outโhere's how to get into AI mode (once rolled out):

Why it's a game changer for us
Finally, we would like to briefly explain why we are so pleased with the Gemini update and why it could be a game-changer for many in their daily work.
Google has an unfair advantage. Unlike OpenAI or Anthropic, they offer AI models in the form of chatbots.
Among other things, they still have a search monopoly, an email service with a few users, and a complete business suite with all the apps for companies and a cloud.
Our companies also run entirely on Google infrastructure.
No one currently integrates AI into all of its products as well as Google.

Be it Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, or even deep research with your own files on Drive, etc. Then there's your own automations with Google Apps Script.
You have AI with you everywhere you go and can work with it perfectly. In the apps you already use.
Until now, it was a little annoying because Gemini 2.5 was okay, but not always good enough for our requirements. That's changing now with Gemini 3.
We now have lots of exciting use cases from our daily work that we would like to showcase more in the future.
That's why we'll soon be holding a Gemini beginner's workshop (Black Friday is coming ๐).
More on working with AI & Google coming soon.
P.S. Even if you don't work with Google, try Gemini 3 in AI Studio. It's really good.
๐ฌ Group chats with AI
Do you also love WhatsApp groups? They're great for quick and easy communication with friends, etc.
ChatGPT is currently testing a new feature: group chats
However, with the addition that the AI is also in the group and can help at any time. ๐

The whole thing works like a normal conversation with ChatGPT, except that now several people can be in the conversation.
The exciting thing is that ChatGPT also decides for itself when to write a message in the chat.
And, of course, when specific help is requested.
Pretty cool. Unfortunately, it's currently only being tested in four countries. And you get three guesses: Germany isn't one of them...
Want to try it now?
If you want to try out group chats with AI in general, Poe from Quora has launched the same feature.
There can be up to 200 people in a group here, and several AI models can participate at the same time.
We find the topic quite exciting and are considering setting up an AINAUTEN test group. We'll let you know when the time comes.
๐ฏ Anthropic CEO warns about the future of AI, but builds it anyway
Finally, here is a short interview with Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic (Claude).
This interview is quite something. The head of Anthropic promises us a "compressed 21st century" with 10 times more progress.
Cancer cure, double lifespan, the full sci-fi program. BUT: (Yes, here comes the big but...)
At the same time, he warns of a 50% reduction in entry-level jobs, concentrated power in the hands of a few tech CEOs, and a lack of democratic control.
The most important points (which we have been hearing for a long time):
AI labs make decisions that affect us all
Job losses are coming "broader and faster" than in previous tech waves
Without regulation, companies must "police themselves."
Dario finds the situation "deeply disturbing" himself
Our take: The AI race continuesโwith all its consequences
We appreciate that Anthropic is being transparent about the risks. BUT: Here, someone is warning about a development that they themselves are actively promoting. It's like a race car driver shouting during the race, "Hey, we're going way too fast!"
The uncomfortable truth: The world continues to build, regardless of whether regulations are introduced or not. And the Americans in particular want to stay ahead of the Chinese.
If AI ever pulls the plug on us, neither acute panic nor burying our heads in the sand will help. We therefore try to focus on the positive, stay informed, and draw attention to risks.
(Even if we sometimes worry about where all this is leading...)
You made it to the endโthanks for reading! Weโll be back soon with even more updates.
