PLUS: ChatGPT gets even smarter with this prompt
Hello AInauts,
Welcome to the latest issue of your favorite newsletter!
Actually, we wanted to write about Microsoft Build 2025, which is taking place in Seattle. The updates on the subject of agents, GitHub Copilot, Copilot etc. are very cool.
However, Google stole the show for us at I/O 25, which is taking place at the same time. And there were many updates in the area of video, images, web design and tools that we can try out immediately.
That's why the focus today is more on Google:

๐ง ChatGPT gets even smarter with this prompt
Here we go!
๐ฐ AI videos with sound & even better images
It's probably because we're not hardcore techies and programmers that we're more excited about Google's updates than Microsoft's.
Google is currently stepping on the gas when it comes to AI - so much so that we can hardly keep up.
VEO 3 - Videos now with sound
The latest variant of Google's AI video model VEO not only brings incredible quality, but can also directly generate sound, noises, music and even entire dialogs in the videos!
Absolutely crazy. Take a look at the examples, you won't regret it: Veo - Google DeepMind
You can always see the prompts used on the page.
You can try it out, but there are currently a few catches:
VEO 3 is only available with a US VPN,
and only with an AI Pro or AI Ultra subscription.
But then directly in Google's own video editor: Flow
We'll keep you up to date as soon as it's available in other tools.
AI images with even more detail and better text
It's clear that OpenAI has made some headway with the image update in ChatGPT. Google is now following suit and has released Imagen 4.

In addition to better quality (up to 2k), photorealistic images and countless styles, Imagen 4 is particularly impressive when it comes to text on images.
Fewer errors, with more text and better typography - perfect for comics, children's books, etc.

We'll bring you some use cases soon, once we've played around with it a bit more.
You can currently test it (again only with a US VPN) at Whisk. And hopefully it will also be available in AI Studio soon!

Then there was another post on X from the Google universe that we almost missed.
This time it's about web and app design:
Meet Stitch by @GoogleLabs, the easiest and fastest product to generate great designs and UIs. ๐งต

We love it so much that we've designed already about 10 new apps and websites in the last two hours! It's great fun and very easy.

When you log in to Stich with your Google account, you will see a familiar and simple user interface. You can decide whether you want to create a mobile app or a website.
The mode selection at the top right is also exciting: Standard or Experimental if you want even more creativity from the AI.
In experimental mode, you can also upload images from other apps as inspiration and have them redesigned.
As we already know from Coding Agents, a rather vague prompt is often times sufficient - in this example, weโve built a personal portfolio tracker.

Stitch then draws up a plan for the app and makes suggestions for the design. If everything fits, you simply give your GO! And a few minutes later you have the first designs.

You can then give feedback on each screen and edit the whole thing, add new ones etc. All conveniently via chat!
Here's the best part: If you like a design, you can export it either as code or even for Figma and bring it live immediately.

Theme colors etc. can also be stored in standard mode.
This makes everyone a perfect app and web designer. We already love this tool and will definitely be spending far too much time with it at the weekend ๐.

๐ง This prompt makes ChatGPT even smarter
A good question came up in our Prompting workshop, and it's one that keeps us busy.
Sometimes we get the impression that the answers from ChatGPT and co. are not that clever. Almost as if the models are lazy!
We are in the realm of conspiracy theories here, but we also observe it all the time (or at least imagine that this happens). Especially with the reasoning models from the o-series, the answers are often not as good as expected.
Is it perhaps because AI costs a lot of computing power and performance is throttled when a lot of people are using the tool at the same time? Who knows!
For some time now, we have been testing a prompt that should make the answers of reasoning models even better. Which prompts them to think better. To be smarter.
Maybe it's your imagination, but we think it works really well! All you have to do is simply post the following prompt before your task. Here you go:
Highest accuracy, detailed focus and inspection from multiple angles.
Start with a clear task analysis and break the problem down into subtasks.
For each subtask, consider several perspectives - even seemingly irrelevant or unlikely ones. Try to refute or question your own assumptions at every step. Triple check everything.
Critically check each step: logic, assumptions, conclusions - explicitly state uncertainties and alternative points of view.
Check your argument independently with other methods or tools, check every fact, every conclusion with external data, invoices or trustworthy sources.
Deliberately use at least twice as many checking methods as usual: mathematical validations, web searches, logic systems and other tools - use everything explicitly and generously for cross-checking.
Even if you are convinced: Take extra time to specifically look for weaknesses, errors in thinking, blind spots or overlooked aspects.
Document these possible weak points clearly and how you have solved them. If you are absolutely sure, stop and force yourself to rethink the entire chain of reasoning from scratch one last time. Describe this final reflection step in detail.

We made it! But no need to be sad. The AInauts will be back soon, with new stuff for you.
