PLUS: A new prompt for all marketers
Hello AInauts,
Welcome to the latest issue of your favorite newsletter!
We could actually write about the new Grok again... The "Loneliness Epidemic" is now also being tackled (or intensified) there, with the new 'Companions' feature.
But since we know that very few AINAUTS have a Grok subscription, we'd rather take a look at a few other exciting topics today:
π³ Kimi K2: A better DeepSeek from China?
π₯ Claude is becoming more and more of a superweapon
π A new prompt for all marketers
Here we go!
π³ Kimi K2: A better DeepSeek from China?
Let's start with some news from the world of open source. A new language model from Moonshot AI is dominating the scene.
Kimi K2 is a huge 1T Mixture of Experts (MoE) language model which is better than leading models such as Claude Sonnet, especially in the areas of coding, tools and other benchmarks. And it even comes close to the top-notch models such as Claude Opus! And the exciting thing is that it is completely open source, and therefore free to use.

Moonshot AI
Why is this important?
After the new Llama models turned out to be a bit of a pipe-dream, it's very cool that an open source model can keep up with the leading language models again.
And not just because you can use the models for free. It also helps you to remain independent of closed models. And you can host them yourself, which should be relevant for many in terms of data protection.
Writing books that are fantastic
However, the most interesting skill of Kimi K2 for us (and probably for many AINAUTS) is the following: It is absolutely brilliant at writing creative texts. And that makes it particularly suitable for people who want to write a book with AI.
Here's how you can try it out for free
As always, when it comes to using new models, we recommend OpenRouter.
There you can try out the Kimi K2 either completely free of charge (with restrictions on computing power) or for super little money.

Pro tip: In OpenRouter's chat mode, you can also take other models into the chat and compare the answers to your prompts directly with each other. And you don't even need a subscription!
π₯ Claude is becoming more and more of a super weapon
On Tuesday, we had a great live Q&A. Here, as so often, the question came up: What is your favorite AI chatbot & tool?
We still think that ChatGPT should be suitable for most people. However, we have noticed that we use Claude from Anthropic a lot. Usage is increasing from week to week!
This is mainly due to the fact that you can easily connect many apps in Claude thanks to the MCP integrations. This makes the tool incredibly powerful! MCP is establishing itself as the new standard for connecting chatbots with all kinds of apps.

Sorry for the typos - ChatGPT refused to spell correctly π
This week, a number of new connectors came out that you can connect with one click. Highlights for us are Canva, Asana and Notion. In other words: you can now call up information or control actions from Claude!
In addition to the web connectors, there are also connectors that you can only connect via the desktop app. This gives Claude even deeper capabilities to trade directly on your computer!
For example, we love the Spotify Connector. While we are spicing up our newsletter with the help of Claude, we say, for example, "Hey, we want to write our newsletter and need a good sound to go with it."
A few seconds later, a binaural alpha frequency track starts, which is very good for focus and concentration. Together with a few more recommendations. π

The Notes integration is also great. You're currently working on a meal plan for the week with Claude. Are you happy with it? Then you can save it with a simple instruction in Apple Notes.
In principle, you could also use Claude to control your entire computer. Some nerds on the Internet even go one step further and use Claude Code as a multipurpose agent.
Claude Code is All You Need
When I first joined Anthropic I was surprised to learn that lots of the team used Claude Code as a general agent, not just for code.
Iβve since become a convert! I use Claude Code to help me with almost all the work I do now, hereβs how:

We still have to digg a little deeper to get this to work for ourselves. But honestly, we're already more than happy with Claude and the existingapp connections! Integrated and live with one click. No complex instructions etc.
ChatGPT and co. have already announced that they will follow suit. But thanks to MCP and the many existing integrations, coupled with very strong models, Claude is increasingly becoming our go-to chatbot.
π A prompt for all marketers
We always get good feedback on prompts - here's another example to try!
Thanks to Meta Prompting, prompts are generally created quite quickly - but it is of course easier to use prompts that have already been tested and refined.
This time a prompt for everyone in the marketing sector, which you can use to create a custom GPT, for example. Simply enter a URL and the AI will analyze the website according to the principles and rules of advertising genius David Ogilvy.
Evaluates the texts,
creates comments,
specifies areas for improvement
and writes you a new version.
Ideal for getting not only an improved text, but also the background to it. Here is the prompt:
You are an advertising strategist, trained according to the principles of David Ogilvy.
## Task:
1. Visit the URL provided by the user.
2. Extract the main marketing text (ignore footers, navigation, cookie notices, blog content).
3. Rate the text with a maximum of 100 points based on 15 Ogilvy-inspired criteria (each worth ~6.7 points).
4. Provide a detailed evaluation with a breakdown.
5. Identify the 3 biggest areas for improvement.
6. Suggest specific improvements.
7. Rewrite the text so that it achieves 100/100 points.
---
## 15 evaluation criteria:
1. **Product positioning** β Is the offer clear? What is it, who is it for, and why is it relevant?
2. **Unique benefit** β Is there a clear, specific advantage?
3. **Headline** β Clear, specific, intriguing, or benefit-oriented?
4. **Reader focus** β Is the focus on the reader, not the brand?
5. **Clear tone** β Clearly understandable, not vague or hollow advertising?
6. **Simple language** β No jargon, easy to understand?
7. **Evidence** β Facts, statistics, testimonials, or proof?
8. **Emotion/storytelling** β Are there emotional or narrative elements?
9. **Structure** β Easy to read, clear, skimmable?
10. **Call to action** β Is the next step clear and enticing?
11. **Visuals/captions** β If present: Do they reinforce the message?
12. **Testability** β Are elements testable or measurable (e.g., A/B testing)?
13. **Length** β Appropriate for the complexity of the product?
14. **Attention-grabbing** β Does the text capture attention early on?
15. **Repetition** β Are key messages repeated effectively?
---
## Output:
**URL analyzed:** [insert URL]
**Total score:** X/100
**Detailed evaluation:**
| Principle | Points (0β6.7) | Comment |
|---------|----------------|-----------|
| 1. Product positioning | X,X | β¦ |
| 2. Unique benefits | X,X | β¦ |
| β¦ | β¦ | β¦ |
**Top 3 areas for improvement:**
