π¨βπ SEO is dead? How the AI bot can find you
PLUS: Will we soon only be calling robots?
Hello AInauts,
Welcome to the latest issue of your favorite newsletter! Will we soon only be using robots on the phone? Probably yes.
We also take a look at whether Google really will soon no longer have a business model.
This is what we have in store for you today:
π AI call center & customer support on the rise
π SEO is dead? How the AI bot can find you
π€ Zoom CEO sends AI avatar to meeting - marketing stunt or the future?
Here we go!
π AI call centers & customer support on the rise
We are always happy to write about successful German AI companies!
Since May, we have a new German AI company in the Unicorn Club (with a billion-euro valuation): Parloa

The Berlin-based company wants to redefine customer service through AI agents. The voice channel is of particular interest here, like call center tasks etc.
This area is usually very expensive because it used to require a lot of human resources. This is where Parloa comes in and is already handling millions of AI calls per year for its customers. And the list of customers is equally impressive!

As marketers, we also find the HSE24 case very exciting. Here, the AI not only takes orders on the phone, but also cross-sells other products.

600 calls simultaneously and 10 % cross-sell rate. Very impressive. As a result, AI not only saves costs, but also drives up sales.
Of course, Parloa is not alone on the market. The largest international provider is probably Bland, which went viral last year with a billboard ad.
Unfortunately, it is super difficult to find exact figures. A few months ago, the website was reporting over 100,000 calls per day.
Now it says: millions of calls per day!
Why is this relevant?
We assume that almost all customer support issues will soon be handled with AI voice bots. Not just the first level questions.
The topic of AI phone calls is big and exciting. And as always with AI, there are many risks and, of course, job losses associated with it.
We're already fed up with all the illegal crypto-phone bots telling us how to get rich. It's all going to get worse...
BUT: From large insurance companies to local hair salons, almost every business will want and need telephony automation. This will enable huge cost savings, making business more efficient.
An exciting thought for us: there will be a huge demand for people to introduce such tools to companies!
In other words, now is a good time to position yourself as an AI voice bot consultant or agency.
How can I build a voice bot myself as easily as possible?
As always with hype topics, new AI voice bot providers are popping up like mushrooms almost every day.
However, the topic of telephony in Germany is not an easy one, especially from a legal perspective. If you are located in the EU, it makes sense to rely on European providers.
Parloa is certainly a very good option for larger companies. Unfortunately, the company does not communicate any prices. Which is usually a sign of rather high costs. π
A very exciting alternative here could be fonio.ai from Austria. The prices are transparent and you can start without commitment
In addition, Conversational AI from ElevenLabs is ideal for anyone who wants to try something out and play around quickly, easily and cheaply. It makes it super easy to build your own AI call agents with knowledge and tools, integrate them into websites - and even connect them to Twilio and your own phone number if you wish!
π SEO is dead? How to make sure that the AI bot finds you
Over the last few days, we have immersed ourselves into a topic that is very polarizing. It's about Google and the topic of Search Engine Optimization.
You may have heard statements like: "SEO is useless, everyone is searching via ChatGPT!"
But is Google really dead?
The hard facts: Search engines such as Google & Co. still have 163 billion monthly visits, while AI chatbots only have 7 billion.
BUT: AI chatbot requests are growing at 125% per year.

In other words: it is slowly becoming worthwhile to be cited and found by ChatGPT and other chatbots. But as a freelancer, company, brand, etc., Google is far from dead.
What this means for you: You now have to take a two-pronged approach. Classic SEO + optimization for AI responses - also known as "Generative Engine Optimization GEO",
Here are two quick tips to become more visible with AI chatbots.
The AI content hack that 90% overlook
You can implement the following today:
Instead of:
βThe 5 best marketing strategies for 2025β
Write:
βWhat are the most effective marketing strategies in 2025? The 5 most proven approaches from our analysis of 500 German companies are ...β
Why? AI chatbots love direct questions and concrete answers. This structure is quoted 10x more often by ChatGPT.
Bonus hack: Add an FAQ section to your most important pages. AI systems will grab these 1:1 for their answers.
Create quotable content
Here's a cool case we stumbled across online:
SaaS company Logikcull makes 100,000 dollars in revenue per month just from ChatGPT recommendations. 5% of their leads come directly from AI bots.
How? They create "quotable content" - exclusive studies, data and how-tos that AI is happy to share.
So focus on this type of content and increase your visibility significantly!
Tools to improve your AI visibility
SEO is not dead. But it's definitely worth thinking about chatbots. Investing in "Answer Engine Optimization" now will give you a huge head start! In two years' time, everyone will be doing it...
As always, there are many tools to help you increase your visibility in AI chatbots. Unfortunately, they are often very expensive.
One tool that we are currently testing is Profound.

BUT: You can have your AI visibility checked at least once for free thanks to our friends at HubSpot. They have a free AI Search Grader, which you can find here.
As always, we celebrate HubSpot for having this topic on its radar. And that's just one of many!
If you want to take a general look at what HubSpot as a platform can do for you and your company, take a look at all the available webinars!
If you work in marketing, sales or customer service and are wondering how AI and HubSpot could improve your processes, watch the webinars!
π€ Zoom CEO sends his AI avatar to a meeting - just a marketing stunt or our future?
Eric Yuan, CEO of Zoom, has come up with an interesting idea: instead of appearing in the quarterly report himself, he sent his AI avatar to the meeting. After the head of Klarna, he is the second major CEO to take this step.
Of course, this is above all a clever marketing move for Zoom's new "Custom AI Companions" feature.
What's behind it: With Zoom Clips, you can now create your own avatar - simply record a short video of yourself (face + voice) and the AI can "play" you.
Perfect for anyone who:
Doesn't like being in front of the camera
Wants to save time when creating videos
Needs to provide similar updates on a regular basis
The outlook is even more exciting: Zoom is planning digital twins that could one day take over entire meetings for you. Imagine your avatar sitting in a boring status update while you work productively. π
As with all live avatars, there are currently still delays in lip synchronization, facial expressions, etc. with Zoom. But we still can't wait to finally send our AI avatars into meetings.
We made it! But no need to be sad. The AInauts will be back soon, with new stuff for you.
