The German open-source tool n8n is revolutionizing workflow automation with a special focus on AI integration. Unlike Zapier or Make, n8n scores points with its self-hosting option and sophisticated AI workflows.

OpenAI Updates

  • OpenAI has trained a new model for creative writing, and Sam Altman is very impressed (the internet a little less so). When and how it will be published is still written in the stars.

  • OpenAI is also throwing new releases around - with the latest API updates you can now build more powerful agents. Web & File Search, Computer Control, Responses API, Agent SDK. Bam! For developers, Christmas comes before Easter this year.

  • OpenAI is taking this as an opportunity to explain how they want to ensure the security and alignment of their AI systems, from GPT-2 to AGI, through iterative deployment and risk assessment. Exciting!

  • OpenAI has concluded a 12 billion dollar deal with GPU cloud provider CoreWeave, a move against Microsoft. OpenAI will also receive a stake of 350 million.

  • Microsoft, on the other hand, is working on its own AI reasoning models and has hired a DeepMind co-founder to compete with OpenAI. Is an API release coming soon?

  • In any case, the Responses API and the Computer-Using Agent (CUA) are already available on Microsoft Azure. You can now automate workflows with your digital employees in the cloud!

  • Sam Altman's World is building a "super app" to compete with Elon Musk's X. Eye-scanning technology aims to help prove human identity in the AI era.

  • Ex-OpenAI researcher Ilya Sutskever's SSI wants to take off with a 30-billion-dollar valuation. He cooks up superintelligence differently than OpenAI, we are curious.

Anthropic and the US government
