PLUS: New hidden feature in ChatGPT
Hello AInauts,
Welcome to the latest issue of your favorite newsletter!
Which tools should I use? Google Gemini is now much better than ChatGPTโor maybe Claude is better?
This is a question we get asked all the time. Today's news and updates fit perfectly with thisโwith our answer to it.
Here's what we have in store for you today:

Let's go!
The Future of Shopping? AI + Actual Humans.
AI has changed how consumers shop by speeding up research. But one thing hasnโt changed: shoppers still trust people more than AI.
Levantaโs new Affiliate 3.0 Consumer Report reveals a major shift in how shoppers blend AI tools with human influence. Consumers use AI to explore options, but when it comes time to buy, they still turn to creators, communities, and real experiences to validate their decisions.
The data shows:
Only 10% of shoppers buy through AI-recommended links
87% discover products through creators, blogs, or communities they trust
Human sources like reviews and creators rank higher in trust than AI recommendations
The most effective brands are combining AI discovery with authentic human influence to drive measurable conversions.
Affiliate marketing isnโt being replaced by AI, itโs being amplified by it.
๐ธ New OpenAI image model better than Google Nano ๐?
Since OpenAI CEO Sam Altman declared a "Code Red" moment for the team, the company has been firing on all cylinders again.
New updates are released every week to stay ahead of the competition, especially Google.
We were already very excited about the update from GPT 5.1 to GPT 5.2. At first, we thought it was just a small step forward. But the longer we use 5.2, the more fun we have with it (pro tip: activate Thinking and set it to "Extended").
For us, it doesn't necessarily feel "better" than Claude Opus 4.5 or Gemini 3 Pro. But it is absolutely equivalent.
And now the next update is already coming up:
GPT Image 1.5 is the new image model that has declared war on the market leaders Google Nano Banana Pro and FLUX.2.
Faster generation, precise editing function, etc. Currently, the model actually ranks first in the Image Arena comparison. Both in terms of generation and editing.
How to use it
Simply click on the "Images" tab, where you will find a completely new image experience with predefined styles, inspirations, and your own generated images.

This is another example of OpenAI's superpower: They can simply Product.
Not only can they build powerful models, but they are also probably the best when it comes to user experience, usability, and handling.
Don't let it drive you crazy!
Finally, here is our answer to the question from the Q&A: "Which model should I use?"
Don't let new updates from different companies drive you crazy. You don't have to constantly switch tools.
It is much more important to thoroughly utilize one of the leading chatbots, familiarize yourself with all of its features, and apply it to your own workflows.
You don't need to have FOMO. If you go with one of the big modelsโChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, even Grokโone of them may be better for a while. But the others are catching up and replicating features.
As our next update shows.
๐ซฃ New hidden feature in ChatGPT
Our next update from OpenAI also fits in with this.
Even though it's not 100% live yet, we want to write about it today. ChatGPT seems to be quietly and secretly rolling out something that we're extremely excited about.
It's also a bit nerdy. Don't be alarmed... but let's start at the beginning.
As you may know, we are big fans of Anthropic's Claude. In October, the team released a new feature that we can't live without.
Namely skills.

We have, of course, already written about this. ChatGPT now appears to be emulating this approach and integrating it as well.
Since 85% of AINAUTS users are ChatGPT users, we are delighted. Finally, we will be able to write more about it in the future. It is not yet 100% live, but here are the most important details.
What are skills?
Skills are basically specific abilities that your chatbot can useโwhen it makes sense to do so.
These can be simple instructions, such as brand guidelines or communication guidelines. Or complex processes such as document creation, website design, etc.
A skill can be very similar to the setup of a GPT or project, with instruction prompts, examples, and background knowledge.
But in addition, assets in the form of files, templates, icons, fonts, etc. can also be included.
This is what the basic anatomy of a skill looks like:
skill-name/
โโโ SKILL.md (required)
โ โโโ YAML frontmatter metadata (required)
โ โ โโโ name: (required)
โ โ โโโ description: (required)
โ โโโ Markdown instructions (required)
โโโ Bundled Resources (optional)
โโโ scripts/ - Executable code (Python/Bash/etc.)
โโโ references/ - Documentation
โโโ assets/ - Files(templates, icons, fonts...)Another major advantage is that multiple skills can be used simultaneously and the AI can autonomously decide which skills to use.
For example, ChatGPT currently has three skills available:
โDocsโ to create documents
โPDFsโ to create PDFs
Spreadsheets for creating Excel files
Whenever you request one of the following file types in ChatGPT, the skill is automatically accessed. ChatGPT looks at the documentation and then gets started.

What makes skills so exciting?
The big advantage of skills is that the chatbot first looks at the appropriate skill, including all files and instructions, before starting the specific task.
In other words, the skill is taken into context.
This naturally makes the results vastly better. And it all happens in the background, without you having to think about which GPT you should use or what context you need to prepare, etc.
The real power comes naturally when you build your own skills.
For example, we have one for creating websites in the AINAUTEN style. Assets such as our logo, important links, graphics, etc. are stored here.
Whenever we build a website, we immediately get a result in our style, with our logo incorporated and all the trimmings.

Claude also has a skill that enables chatbots to build skills for specific purposes themselves. ๐ Quite meta, similar to the topic of meta prompting. You can find the skill here for viewing.

P.S. With Claude Code, you can, for example, create and store new websites directly, including all files. Or even publish them live on the internet. If you are interested, we would be happy to hold a workshop on this topic.
Why is this relevant to me?
You may be wondering why we are writing such a lengthy article about a feature that has not even been fully rolled out yet.
3 reasons:
We expect it to arrive this year.
We want you to always be ahead of the wave.
It shows once again that it's perfectly okay to rely on one of the major AI providers and remain loyal to them. When one launches an ingenious feature, all the others follow suit.
If you want to test it, go to your ChatGPT and enter the following prompt:
Create a zip file of /home/oai/skills
Then download the zip file and take a look at how the skills are structured. You can learn a lot from this to help you build your own skills.
If you need more inspiration, you can find Claude Skills here..
๐คฏ Impressive AI video inspiration
For todays edition, there is nothing left to learn or understand, but only to marvel at.
Please take a look at this short video here. We think it's really cool! Anyone who thinks that AI videos are still "not good enough" will change their mind after watching this โฆ
This guy is clearly a pro. There's more to it than just a casual AI slop prompt. But it's so incredibly cool what's possible!
You made it to the endโthanks for reading! Weโll be back soon with even more updates.
