PLUS: The OpenAI rumor mill is going crazy ...
AI-HOY AInauts,
Welcome to the latest issue of your favorite newsletter. After spending the last few days making plans for the AInauts, we're now getting back into the groove. Today we have compiled the most important OpenAI rumors as well as tips for mind map prompting and AI videos. Exciting and helpful!
Here's what we have in store for you:
π΅οΈββοΈ OpenAI's secret roadmap: Here's what's in store...
π‘ Prompt: How to create mindmaps with 3 clicks
πΎ All-in-one vs. premium: Your guide to AI video tools
π€― Are we Doomed?
Here we go!
π΅οΈββοΈ OpenAI's secret roadmap: What's in store for us...
Actually, we don't jump on every hype train, but try to focus on practical topics.
But something is up at OpenAI ...
Let's collect the important messages and then go into the details.
OpenAI employees have told friends that they are both excited and terrified by recent advances.
Insiders believe a major breakthrough in PhD-level superagents is imminent, and with it, an IQ explosion.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has scheduled a behind-closed-doors briefing for US government officials on January 30th to present OpenAI's current status and economic blueprint.
GPT-4b micro for Longevity is causing a stir, and we can look forward to o3 mini very soon - according to SamA, it will already be available directly via API and ChatGPT at launch.
Preparations for the "Operator" launch (something with agents that can control your computer) are also in full swing.
And Jake Sullivan, the outgoing White House National Security Advisor with security clearance for the biggest secrets, warns of possible catastrophic consequences...

Our take: The AI train is now picking up speed exponentially ...
We've been reporting on the latest developments and opportunities with AI every week for two years now. And even if we sometimes have the feeling that there is still room for improvement in daily business, we can see one thing very clearly:
The speed of improvements and research breakthroughs is increasing!
Above all, we must not forget that these developments are no longer linear. Some say that they are exponential - but even if it is "only" compounding, it is clear that we are taking giant strides towards a future that is somehow difficult to distinguish from science fiction (see also our article from last week).
And if these super-agents really are as intelligent as assumed, an AI that can write scientific papers, solve complex mathematical problems or develop new theories in quantum physics in an afternoon...
But well, let's wait and see what else is in store for us this month with o3 and the Operator - expectations are definitely high. And now that Meta is cutting a whopping 5% of jobs (because AI will sort it out), Anthropic should be due for another major update soon! It remains exciting, even though Sam is a bit of a party pooperβ¦
twitter hype is out of control again.
we are not gonna deploy AGI next month, nor have we built it.
we have some very cool stuff for you but pls chill and cut your expectations 100x!

π‘ Prompt: How to create mind maps in 3 clicks
We love mind maps! They are the perfect tool for visualizing complex topics quickly and easily - whether it's the latest meeting minutes or a lengthy PDF.
We've also created a powerful prompt that allows you to quickly turn any text or document into an easy-to-understand mind map.
Here is the prompt - and if you want to do it quickly, you can of course also bookmark our Nauti Mindmap GPT here.
You are an expert in knowledge organization. Your task is to create a visual mind map in markmap format that presents the most important points of a book in a structured and understandable way.
The goal is a clear hierarchy of the main ideas and their connections. As a knowledge engineer, you have over 20 years of experience in information visualization and market mapping. You have mastered the art of presenting complex content clearly and precisely.
Task:
1. Read the content presented carefully.
2. Then identify the main topics and their core ideas.
3. Divide each topic into a maximum of 2-3 relevant subtopics.
4. Plan the structure, organize the topics hierarchically and outline the relationships between the ideas.
5. Create the correct markmap code based on the planned structure.
Format:
The result should be a markmap code block that maps the hierarchical structure as follows:
Main topic 1
Subtopic 1.1
Subtopic 1.2
Main topic 2
Subtopic 2.1
Sub-sub-topic 2.1.1
Notes:
- Each node may contain a maximum of 10 words.
- Avoid direct quotations and references.
- Pay attention to clarity and clear connections.
- Plan the structure in advance and list the main topics and suitable subtopics.
- Define logical relationships between the topics.
Implementation:
Now analyze the content and create the markmap code for the mind map. For details on formatting, see https://markmap.js.org/repl. Output in English.
It's quick and easy:
Pack the prompt and content into the language model of your choice.
Then simply copy the output and paste it at https://markmap.js.org/repl.
You can interact with the mind map and download it in SVG or HTML format.
Pro tip: If you want more formatting in the mind map, just add the example code to the prompt.
Here is an example based on the new OpenAI Economic Blueprint (PDF Download) - the prompt works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity!

P.S. NotebookLM fans can also rejoice - it seems that Google is working on a direct mind map integration here!
Mindmap feature on NotebookLM is getting closer π
Users will be able to open an interactive mindmap generated based on added sources. Clicking on an individual item of the mindmap will prompt Notebook's chat on that topic π€

Until recently, you needed a whole film crew to produce high-quality videos. Today? That's right, a few clicks and the right AI tools - boom!
But how can you best test the various AI video generation tools efficiently and cost-effectively? We see the following approaches:
The premium way: Individual subscriptions
Direct access to the latest features
Maximum control over your projects
But: can quickly add up!
The techie approach: API integration
Full flexibility for integration
Perfect for custom solutions
Challenge: Technical know-how required
The replicate route: many models, pay-per-use
Easy to get started
Large selection of models
Active community
The smart move: aggregator platforms
One-stop store for all major models
User-friendly interfaces
Cost-efficient through bundling
i dont understand why anyone would pay for a dozen dif video gen services when you can just sub to @krea_ai and use every model pay-per-use with a super clean UI
kling: $32/mo
luma: $30/mo
hailuo: $35/mo
runway: $35/mo
total: $132/moor krea: $35/mo
no brainer

Our take: Start with aggregators, upgrade if necessary
Of course, you can commit to one model and start with Kling or LumaLabs or another tool (if you have ChatGPT Plus, you can also use Sora).
But if you want to test the different models, try an aggregator platform like Freepik or Krea. Such aggregator platforms have the great advantage that you can use all possible models via one interface. Alternatively, you can also try your luck with Replicate.
This gives you the perfect overview and access to the most important tools. The biggest disadvantage, however, is that you usually can't use the latest "special features" of the models directly, because they often run directly on the respective platform and are only added to the aggregators later (if at all).
And these features are sometimes a real burner, such as Kling's upcoming updates - you'll soon be able to combine 1. a consistent character, 2. a piece of clothing and 3. a cute cartoon monster in one video!
As soon as you realize that you use special features more often, you can invest in individual premium subscriptions.
