An Anthropic study reveals exciting trends in AI usage in the workplace: almost 50% of all AI chats come from software developers and content creators. While 36% of jobs use AI for at least a quarter of their tasks, only 4% use it for over 75% of their work.
Of particular interest: the middle education and salary bracket ($75-100k) uses AI most extensively, while both low-wage jobs and highly specialized positions are more reluctant. The majority see AI as a support, not a replacement - but with the emergence of AI natives, major changes are on the horizon.
