Google rolls out new AI functions in the Google Suite: Gemini assistant for Docs, Slides and Sheets, plus image generation with Imagen 3. The "Help me write" feature in Gmail now also writes emails in German (for Premium users only). Simply click on the pen, enter a few hints, done! For non-Gmail users, there are alternatives such as Microsoft Copilot for Outlook, deepl.com/write, maestrolabs.com or writemail.ai. A practical time saver for anyone who has to write a lot of emails!

This nerdy and exciting AI prompt turns your chat history into a hard-hitting intelligence analysis! First you have a personalized image created from your chat history - now even sharper thanks to the new ChatGPT image model. Then it gets really spicy: a detailed intelligence report analyzes your personality, thought patterns and motivations. The report examines potential risks, influences and strategic capabilities - just like a CIA report!

A crazy scandal is rocking US politics: the latest tariff decisions were apparently "recommended" by an AI - with dramatic consequences! The formulas used are suspiciously similar to language model patterns, suggesting that someone simply consulted ChatGPT. The result? The worst stock market crash since Covid. And the tariffs imposed on China, Taiwan and South Korea are now jeopardizing important infrastructure projects - Microsoft has already reacted and frozen data center expansion plans...

With its new "Accent Conversion" function, Krisp.ai is launching a tool that converts non-American accents into flawless US English in real time - with a delay of just 200ms. It currently only works with Indian dialects, with more to follow. It's perfect for call centers to break down communication barriers. It still sounds a bit robotic in our tests, but hey - this is just the beginning.

Meta has introduced three new open source language models called Scout, Maverick and Behemoth. These multimodal models impress with huge context windows - Scout with 10 million and Maverick with one million tokens. As MoE (Mixture of Experts) models, they use multiple specialist networks instead of one large network, which brings efficiency and cost benefits. Despite some controversy, these are remarkable models that you can already test for free via OpenRouter.ai - both in chat and via API.

Shopify CEO Tobi Lütke makes AI mandatory for all employees. "Reflexive AI usage" means that AI is automatically integrated into every task - like a reflex. While Shopify is integrating AI into performance reviews and making it standard, German companies are often still stuck in the testing phase. Lütke warns: "Those who avoid using AI will fail. German companies risk being left behind while teams in North America and Asia multiply their productivity with AI. Instead of endless concerns, smart solutions such as clear AI strategies and internal training are needed!

The German start-up Jamie is a breath of fresh air in the world of meeting productivity. As an intelligent AI assistant, Jamie takes part in meetings, automatically creates summaries and tracks tasks. The app understands and transcribes both German and English, integrates seamlessly into common calendar systems and scores points for GDPR compliance.
