AI-powered image editing is taking a huge leap forward! The mysterious "Nano-Banana" model (presumably from Google) and Alibaba's open-source tool Qwen Image Edit now enable super-easy image editing via text commands. While Nano-Banana is particularly good at combining two images, Qwen impresses with step-by-step editingโ€”but only with precise prompts.

Particularly exciting for companies: combine product photos, customize brand assets, and change graphic texts. Be careful with German textsโ€”the models still struggle with these. Tip: use Replicate, where image editing starts at just 3 cents!

Microsoft is now bringing Copilot directly to Excel! With the new =COPILOT() formula, users can analyze and generate content directly in the spreadsheet, similar to Google Sheets' =ai function. The feature is currently available in beta, and the syntax is kept simple: =COPILOT("Prompt", Range).

Higgsfield AI, founded by Snapchat's former AI chief, presents a cool "draw-to-video" feature. On a blank canvas, users can create dynamic videos using text, drawings, and images. The tool enables everything from blockbuster effects to product placement. While use requires a paid subscription, it offers unlimited creations with the Minimax model. With this innovation, Higgsfield is once again setting new standards in AI video development.
