A clever hacker has outsmarted an AI bot and won it $47,000!

Freysa AI was not supposed to give out money under any circumstances, but after 481 unsuccessful attempts, a user cracked the code with clever prompt engineering. This shows how powerful good prompts can be and that they can bypass the strongest security measures.

Interacting with AI bots is like a game - whoever understands the rules comes out on top. Time to improve our prompting skills and use AI to our advantage!

Our favorite image generation AI from the Black Forest has received a mega update! FLUX now offers tools that allow you to edit images. While Midjourney and Stable Diffusion have had such features for some time, FLUX, as always, does it better.

With FLUX.1 Fill, you can select parts of the image and replace them with a text prompt - burgers become coffee! FLUX.1 Depth/Canny transforms images and retains the composition, and FLUX.1 Redux gives avatars a new style.

Best of all, you can try it out almost for free via the Replicate Playground - an image only costs a few cents, and you don't need a subscription!

Who needs expensive photo shoots when you can do it with AI? In its fall campaign, ASS shows athletes with bulky equipment in public transportation situations - to show that they actually need a car.

But the AI route with Midjourney was bumpy and took over a month, including Photoshop reworking. But it was still cheaper than a real shoot!

Our tip for next time: Maybe FLUX and LoRa would have sped up the process? Two LoRas, one for public transport images and one for the desired style, could make all the difference. Who would like to experiment?

You would think that December would be quieter and more contemplative. But far from it, everyone wants to put in a strong final spurt. Here is the most important news from the last week.

OpenAI, Amazon, Google, Apple, xAI - what's going on with the big players right now

  • Google is also flexing its muscles: the new Gemini 2 version outperforms all others, the new PaliGemma can see, Veo revolutionizes videos, Expressive Captions adds more emotion to subtitles, HAI-DEF conquers medicine, GenCast for more precise weather forecasts and seven AI innovations in one month.

  • Meta is also getting involved: Llama 3.3 70B is becoming more efficient, the US military is using Meta's AI, the company is focusing on nuclear power for data centers and is launching an AI division for $200 million. And psst, but Zuck also uses GPT-4 internally.

  • Is Musk's xAI rolling up the field from behind? Grok is open to all users now, and a new $6 billion fundraising is fueling its ambitions.

  • In just 122 days, xAI has built a data center with 100,000 Nvidia GPUs in Memphis. The Grok offensive can now begin, and the new Grok 3 is already being trained.

  • Apple still has AI ambitions: the Siri transformation is set to take place by 2026 and tests of Amazon's AI chips are imminent.

  • Microsoft wants to revolutionize work: Copilot Vision now understands your screen, and AI memory will soon be infinite.

  • ElevenLabs is unpacking its entire voice agent toolkit with its new Conversational AI. From lightning-fast sales callers to AI tutors, everything is included, and with minimal latency.

  • There is now also a new podcast module: With GenFM, the AI transforms content into a dynamic podcast - in 32 languages, from Hindi to Spanish.
